Enquiries and orders.
Coilovers Direct is a GSM Performance company. Contact details and messages are shared with GSM to answer enquiries. Order details are passed securely to GSM Performance’s order system and the payment provider to process purchases. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s hosted checkout.
Service providers.
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. GSM’s WooCommerce platform manages orders and Stripe processes payment. Contact enquiries pass through Mailgun’s EU email service. Supabase hosts Cally’s chat service and Anthropic processes messages to generate replies. GSM keeps chat transcripts for support and review. The phone assistant uses Twilio and ElevenLabs. Avoid sending passwords, card details or sensitive information to the assistant. Contact us for retention or deletion requests.
Your account.
Sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. We store your verified email, saved addresses and expiring account sessions to provide account access and link orders placed while signed in. Codes expire after 10 minutes; sessions expire after 14 days and can be revoked from your account. Account access uses necessary secure cookies. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information; order records may need to be retained for accounting.
Registration search.
UK registrations are sent securely to GSM Performance’s existing vehicle lookup service, which uses government vehicle records and keeps its existing lookup cache. Registrations are not added to your garage, page URLs or our analytics. Saving a car keeps its model, year and catalogue identity. A lookup cannot confirm every chassis, engine or factory damper option; check the exact kit before ordering.
Your cars, shortlists and reviews.
Cars and kit shortlists can be saved in this browser or in a signed-in account. Account preferences stay separate from browser preferences. Reviews publish only your chosen display name, car details, driving use, text and approved photo. Email addresses and order references are not published. Photos are resized and stripped of metadata before publication. You can edit or withdraw your reviews; edits return to moderation. Contact hello@coiloversdirect.co.uk for access or deletion requests.
Necessary storage.
Your basket and cookie choice are stored in your browser. The cookie choice lasts up to six months. This tab stores a random chat reference and recent messages; Start a new chat clears the messages shown here and does not delete GSM’s saved transcript. Necessary request identifiers prevent duplicate submissions. Contact delivery records are retained for up to 30 days; commerce and operational records follow GSM’s applicable retention policies.
