Cars with electronic dampers

Check the original equipment before ordering a replacement kit.

Tell us what is fitted now

Include the exact model year, chassis and any factory electronic or adaptive damping option in a fitment enquiry. A model name may cover cars with different suspension equipment. If you are unsure, say so and send the option information or existing damper part code you have.

Confirm the complete combination

Some kits have a specific electronic-damper application or require a compatible cancellation solution. BC Racing lists EDC products separately. Do not assume that a cancellation kit is included with the coilovers, or that one solution covers every model. We will check the exact kit and any additional parts against the information you provide.

Separate factory controls from optional adjustment

TEIN EDFC uses motors to operate compatible damper adjusters. It is a separate system with its own compatibility requirements. EDFC compatibility does not by itself confirm that a kit retains the car’s original electronic damping controls. Ask about both systems if that distinction affects your choice.
